Gorale is comprised of text and risograph interpretations of analogue medium format photographs taken within the Tatra mountain range in southern Poland, the region my family emigrated from in the early 1900s. Within the collection of words and images, a loose narrative forms around ideas of locational and cultural memory and the difficulty in accurately relaying experiences in foreign spaces.
Gorale is 48 pages, risograph printed, handbound with a letterpressed cover jacket, in an edition of 50.
